Jeremy Stravius Rockets To 2nd in World in 100 Free in France

Jeremy Stravius sprinted his way to second in the world in the men’s 100-meter free at the 2016 French Open National Championships.

Stravius clocked a sizzling time of 47.97, just the second sub-48 of the year.  Cameron McEvoy holds the top time with a 47.56 from the Aquatic Super Series.

Clement Mignon moved to fourth in the world with a 48.01, just behind Florent Manaudou’s 48.00 from the Marseille stop of the Golden Tour.  Manaudou, however, missed out on the 100 free spot for France with a 48.10 for third place.  Mehdy Metella took fourth in 48.43.
