The La Cueva girls and Albuquerque Academy boys took home the 2016 New Mexico State High School Championships.

La Cueva claimed the girls title with 291 points, just ahead of El Dorado’s second-place 286. Â Albuquerque Academy (232), Los Alamos (218) and Clovis (205) finished third through fifth.
