Leah Hayes has broken her second 10 and under National Age Group record of the weekend. Tonight, the USA Athletic Club Tidal Waves Swim Team swimmer touched in 28.33 to win the 50 freestyle by over two seconds. That time took .63 off her seed time and was almost two tenths faster than Miriam Sheehan‘s old mark of 28.52.
Sheehan still holds four National Age Group records (50 and 100 backstroke and 50 and 100 butterfly).
On Friday the 10 year old from Aurora, Illinois clocked a 2:14.87 200 freestyle to dominate the event at the 2016 Illinois Age Group Championships and set her first National Age Group record.
