Matias Koski Leads 18 Swimmer Finnish Roster to European Champs

The Finnish Swimming Association announced that 18 swimmers will represent Finland at the 2016 European Championships. The meet begins next month in London.

The nation is sending four men to the meet. They are Sami Aaltomaa, Matias Koski, Ari-Pekka Liukkonen and Matti Mattsson. University of Georgia standout Koski highlights the roster. Koski finished second in the 200 freestyle at NCAAs, posting the fifth fastest time ever in the event.

She is joined by Anniina Ala-Seppälä, Patricia Aschan, Mimosa Jallow, Silja Känsäkoski, Veera Kivirinta, , Laura Lajunen, Jenna Laukkanen, Lotta Nevalainen, Tessa Nurminen, Aino Otava, Emilia Pikkarainen, Hanna-Maria Seppälä and Fanny Teijonsalo.
