Michael Andrew turned in his third record-breaking performance of the 2015 USA Swimming Winter Junior Nationals West with a sizzler in the men’s 100-yard fly.
A day after twice lowering the men’s 200-yard IM 15-16 U.S. National Age Group record in prelims with a 1:43.94 then in finals with a 1:42.77, Andrew downed his own 15-16 mark in the 100-yard fly.
This morning, Andrew clipped his previous record of 46.36 with a 46.34 in prelims. Â That swim also downed the meet record of 46.42 set by Ryan Hoffer of Scottsdale last year. Â Hoffer qualified second behind Andrew today with a 46.44 and should give him a run in the finale.
