It was a record setting day for Indie Swimming’s Michael Andrew.
After setting a new 15-16 National Age Group record in the 200-yard individual medley this morning, Andrew broke his own record in evening finals. Andrew posted a time of 1:42.77, nearly four second ahead of Nitro Swim Team’s Sean Grieshop, who finished in second.
The evening started with the women’s 500-yard freestyle. Katie Drabot of Ozaukee Aquatics won the event with a time of 4:40.49. Taylor Ault took second with a time of 4:41.73. Grieshop won the men’s event by nearly five seconds with a time of 4:15.53. Tyler Abbott, Grieshop’s Nitro teammate, finished in second.
