Michigan and Indiana traded blows and Ohio State got into the mix at the Men’s Big Ten meet on Friday morning at the Boilermaker Aquatic Center in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Michigan started off strong with three A-finalists in the 400 IM led by senior Dylan Bosch at 3:41.75. He was joined in the final by Ian Rainey and Cameron Stitt in the A-final. The Wolverines also placed two in the B final and one in the C final. Indiana only had one in the C-final. Other A-finalists were Jakub Maly, Daniel Conway, John Bushman, Augustus Whiteman and Josh Anderson.
Indiana came right back with two A-finalists in the 100 fly led by freshman Vinicius Lanza at 45.94. Junior Max Irwin was eighth at 47.24. Michigan placed two in the A-final with Evan White and Aaron Whitaker at third and fourth. Matt McHugh, Austin Flager, Jerzy Twarowski and Daryl Turner are also in the 100 fly final.
