The United States Paralympic Swimming community came together for the seventh year in a row to honor its late national team coach Jimi Flowers with the Jimi Flowers Classic held in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The meet is named and held in honor of Flowers, who died in 2009 during a rock climbing accident.

While a light dusting of snow fell on the opening morning of the seventh annual Jimi Flowers Classic, the records were falling inside the pool as one world record and multiple American and Pan American records were shattered at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
