Park Taehwan Blasts Worlds 4th Best 400 Freestyle

Meet and national records fell on day three of the 2016 Korean Olympic Trials.

Park Tae-hwan was once again dominant. The 26 year old set a new meet record, touching in 3:44.26, in the 400 freestyle, the fourth best time in the world this year. Despite posting times among the world’s best, Park will still be unable to compete in the Rio Games.

Wonyoung Jung set a new meet record in the men’s 100 backstroke, finishing in 54.44, just ahead of Bak Seong Wan in 54.70.
