Roman Trussov Lacey Locke Shine as Iowa Splits with Northwestern

It was senior day in Evanston as the Northwestern women beat conference foe Iowa. The star of the day for the Wildcats was junior Lacey Locke as she won three individual events for Northwestern.

Locke started her hat trick day with a win in the 100 back at 55.71. She later won the 200 back (2:00.11) and the 200 IM (2:05.33). Locke also led off the second place 200 medley relay team (25.90).

Junior Annika Winsnes won two events on the day beginning with the 200 free (1:51.00) and the 100 free (50.86). She also anchored the winning 400 free relay with a stellar 49.97 split to seal the comeback win over Iowa. Joining her on that relay were Mary Warren, Julia Pratt and Maddy Sims.
