Stanford followed up Ella Eastin’s NCAA and American record in the 200-yard IM with an American and NCAA mark in the women’s 400-yard medley relay at the 2016 NCAA Division I Women’s Championships.

Ally Howe (51.89), Sarah Haase (57.02), Janet Hu (50.65) and Lia Neal (46.58) threw down a blistering time of 3:26.14.  That swim lowered their own NCAA and American record of 3:26.25 they just set at Pac 12s last month.

That’s Stanford’s NCAA-record 12th victory in the event’s history.
