Team USA took down another ratified American record with a win in the men’s 400-meter free relay at the 2015 Duel in the Pool.
Team USA’s Josh Schneider, Matt Grevers, Michael Chadwick and Nathan Adrian posted a winning time of 3:05.42. Â That swim beat the ratified American record of 3:06.10 set by Adrian, Garrett Weber-Gale, Ricky Berens and Ryan Lochte back in 2010.
The time does not, however, break the fastest time by Americans – the world record 3:03.30 set by Adrian, Gervers, Weber-Gale and Michael Phelps in techsuits in 2009.
