Kate Douglass, 13, of Westchester Aquatic Club (N.Y.) Â was one of the youngest athletes to compete at the Minneapolis stop of the Arena Pro Swim Series last November. Douglass–now fourteen– won the ‘C’ final of the 200 meter breaststroke with a final time of 2:31.37, earning herself an Olympic Trials cut.
Douglass also owns an OT qualifying time in the 50 free (25.80)–the fastest American time ever in the event by a 13-year-old-girl.
