Just minutes after finishing second in the women’s 200-yard back at the 2016 NCAA Division I Women’s Championships, Virginia’s Courtney Bartholomew announced her retirement to the media.
Even though Bartholomew had started to develop a bit of an international career, she said she just didn’t have the love for the sport to continue on until Trials.
