Carter Grimes has announced his verbal commitment to the University of Missouri. The distance swimmer trains with the Sandpipers of Nevada.
Grimes had a great long course season, swimming the 400 IM and 1500 freestyle at Olympic Trials. He finished the summer with best times at US Open and Junior Nationals, highlighted by a third place finish in the 200 butterfly and fifth in the 400 IM at Juniors.
