Another meet record fell in prelims of day three at the 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series Santa Clara.
Nathan Adrian touched in meet record time of 48.17. The old meet record stood at 48.44 set by Brent Hayden in 2009. This mornings swim was only .17 off Adrian’s fifth ranked time in the world this year.
James Magnussen touched second in 49.45.
